The Core Values of New Heights – How they began and how they are changing
One of the reasons New Heights ABA is such a special place is because our community strives to live out our Core Values–across clients, caregivers, employees, and community. About a year ago, we sat down to think about our vision and our mission. We looked at what we are already doing and what we want to strive for and came up with our Core Values. Recently, we have made some changes to encompass everything we believe in at New Heights ABA.

Passion for delivering ABA using a least restrictive approach
Honesty through communication and feedback with supervisors and implementation/data collection of client programming
As we began to polish our core values, we realized that an important area of our company culture is Diversity. We want to strengthen our commitment to celebrating a diverse environment. We are actively learning about how to make clients and staff from diverse backgrounds feel welcome and included in the growth of our company. We have opened the door on discussions around acceptance with our staff. Our clients enjoy music, books, and art activities that honor diversity. We will continue to shape our efforts by including more family questionnaires, staff feedback and surveys, and even consider creating a team that ensures ongoing cultural competency at NHABA.
